Cold Case' style of flashbacking to unsolved crimes (many in bygone eras) along with music from those eras, makes it unique among current TV crime show fare. I particularly liked the section Prohibition murder was found with the skeleton of the 1930 vehicles were withdrawn from the river! Cold Case tries to connect people and social constraints. face during the times as an avid reader of mystery / thriller, it seems that reminds me of the novels of Thomas Cook - a high that you will be a flashback to another time and a good dose mystery.
